We were very pleased to be involved in Danny Boyle’s “Pages of the Sea” project, part of the celebrations of 100 years since the end of the First World War.
‘I was asked to Produce/Direct for my colleague Simon Vacher‘ says Andy Johnstone, ‘and we got some great material to feed to BBC News and also for the 14–18 Now project itself. My personal highlight was interviewing Billy Bragg and it is great to see that they have used that interview to open the film.’
The week before Andy had shot the call to action with the lovely Kate Adie on the beach where the event was to take place.
