Lighting Cameraman Andrew Johnstone has just completed his CAA drone pilot training and Wild Dog is now able to offer aerial cinematography to its list of services for broadcast and commercial clients.
“I am not expecting to replace specialist drone film companies”, says Johnstone, “but there are many instances when the ability to shoot aerial pictures for the projects we work on would have been really useful. With the CAA PfCO licence I can now plan to do this on certain jobs.”
We have invested in a Mavic Air drone which while small is an immensely powerful filmmaking tool for documentary & news feature projects.
